Stergo FZCO ("Stergo", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through stergomedia.com and the client account, how we use and protect it, and your rights. It is written to align with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "PDPL") and applicable UAE law. Read it alongside our Cookie Policy.

Personal data we collect

Identity and contact details — such as your name, business name and email address.
Account and order data — the services you order, briefs you submit, projects, deliverables and billing records.
Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
Communications — messages and support requests you send us.

How we use your data and our legal bases

We process personal data on the bases recognised by the PDPL, including the following:

To set up and run your client account and deliver the services you order — performance of our contract with you.
To process payments, maintain your balance and issue invoices.
To respond to enquiries and provide support.
To operate, secure and improve the site and the account — our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
To send marketing communications — only where you have consented, and you can opt out at any time.
To meet legal, regulatory and anti-money-laundering obligations that apply to us.

Analytics and third parties

We keep third parties to a minimum. Where we use website analytics, it is a mainstream, privacy-respecting provider used to understand site usage in aggregate; any analytics cookies are set in line with our Cookie Policy and your consent where required. We do not sell your personal data.

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate — for example payment, hosting and communications providers — and only as needed to provide the services, or where required by law. Where data is transferred outside the United Arab Emirates, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with the PDPL.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, or for as long as we are required to retain it under applicable law, after which we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Security

We use organisational and technical measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and least-privilege access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Age

Our site and services are intended for businesses and for adults aged 18 or over. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
